W.I.P. It GOOD! Oh… WIP Blog Hop! :)

*disclaimer* I have had this blog for 14 months and this is only the 3rd time I’ve used it.. Yikes! Since I was invited to do this awesome Blog Hop, perhaps I can dust off the ole blog and give it a whirl… so… here we go! hehe

I would love to thank the ever beautiful and talented, Inger Iverson for tagging me in this blog/page-hop! MWAH! You’re the best! Please check her out!! You can find/stalk her on her blog www.ingeriversen.com, on FB at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Inger-Iversen/187900437937819 and on rare occasions at a sleep-over at my house with lots of chocolate, sexy men, and amazing movies (but she likes to steal my toys, so… I don’t invite her much anymore! >.< hehehe).

Here are the questions.
1: What is the working title of your book? Bluffing the Devil

Image(Tiniest cover taste test… mwahahahah! Cover reveal and a few surprises coming on Earth Day!)

2: Where did the idea come from for the book? A really spicy dream!

3: What genre does your book come under? New Adult Paranormal Romance

4: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Alexia could be played by Claudia Lynx ~

or even Nina Dobrev ~

nina-dobrev-1 as Alexia

Rey could be played by Kuno Becker ~

Devin could be played by Carlos Ponce ~

Jamison could be played by Alex Pettyfer ~

… maybe?

And the Devil… SHE can be played best by the woman who inspired her, Federica Ridolfi, cause.. droooool. Who wouldn’t do as she asked? Seriously…

Federica-Ridolfi-4 federica_ridolfi_12 Federica_Ridolfi_015x

That would be my personal dream team (so far! Hehe). Though, I should have written a character that would be great for Benedict Cumberbatch to play just so I could hear him read my words to me. *drool* Yes yes… that is some form of Heaven… Oh… my goodness, back to the program…lol

5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? A girl who’s suffered great loss decides to take over a male-dominated sport and find her inner bad-ass when she is faced with the ultimate test, straight from the devil himself.

6: Is your book self-published, published by an independent publisher, or represented by an agency? Self-published 🙂

7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? If you look at my document, it says 38 non-consecutive days. But… in real life it was a few months, as I took a break to write two other novels, a few short stories, some poems, and other things between and let people and times halt my progress. Shame on me! >.<

8: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? Umm, I don’t know that I’ve seen this storyline before. Maybe when someone reads it, they can help me with that!

9: Who or what inspired you to write this book? After the dream, it was nagging at me to write it down. I had never written before, besides poems. I sat down just to document it and I told a few friends and they were like “oooh, you should write a book”, so.. I started, sent off a few chapters and then it was decided (by them) that I was a writer. Can’t disappoint the fans! haha

10: What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? This book takes place in many places and deals with the world of high stakes poker, has sexy demons and angels, deals made with the Devil, lost love, new love, sassy friends, and is action packed. They say you should write the book you want to read, well…that’s what I did!
